Trading212 - New Customer Deals

Hello! Based on the deals listed in the MSE newsletter I'm considering getting a Trading212 account. However, I'm not sure if I can make use of each deal. One option is to open an Easy Access ISA that provides a bonus % rate for new customers. The other deal is an Investment ISA account that provides £50 bonus into a popular company share if you invest £100. I've never been a customer with Trading212 and both of these deals are for new customers.

Is it possible to get each deal or do you have to choose between them?

I doubt you can get both, as the deals are for new T212 customers, not new cash ISA or new S&S ISA customers. You could try getting both but don't be disappointed if only one works. Check the T&Cs before you commit.

I have just opened an ISA account with 212 using the link from here but they say they will only pay 3.6% and not the bonus.

Once you become a customer you are ineligible for further joining incentives. Pick the one that works best for you.

You probably can get both, you just need to open both accounts within 10 days. The cash ISA rate is to new cash iSA customers and the free share is for anyone that opens a S&S GIA or ISA or has opened one in the last 10 days (as you can still claim after opening).

If you already have an account of any type older than 10 days then you are no longer a new customer and can't claim.

I find it very annoying that T212 gives new customers much better deals in rates than the loyal long term customers, that said as a platform you can't beat it

There are countless financial institutions offering incentives only to new customers, so T212 is far from alone!
