Universal credit suspension

Yes the outcome may be the same, but the reasons are very different. We are interested in establishing the reasons, as that will allow us to help advise the OP to possible solutions. The terminology matters.
There is an option on a UC claim to Suspend a claim, but that is not what has been used here, as explained in my earlier reply. Claim suspensions occur for a very specific set of reasons, and the action required to get a claim unsuspended again requires a very specific set of actions.
I appreciate that this may all look the same from the outside, but it is not, and how we advise the OP is not the same either. I hope that makes some sense?

The only thing you can do to speed things up is keep at them through the journal. And seek help from Citizens Advice if things drag on beyond a month. Always send messages through to payments. Some will say' your delaying them but they won't forget you.

It's a payment blocker not a suspension I have checked, I do apologise I thought it had been suspended. They need to see if my claim needs adjusting after decreasing my savings. Thank you

I have been below 6000 for a while, I know it's my own fault for not reporting it at the end of each assessment period and I have been paid as being over 6000.

I think updating anything around annual increases that happen naturally; they probably are busy dealing with those, and that's in mass.
Just keep an eye on your journal. And if nothing happens do a journal message to payments option. You may also request a loan if you need it via UC.

In your case you have been underpaid. The issue is that it needs to be fully investigated to make sure everything is correct going forward, and there are no overpayments ie every case where incorrect capital reporting has materially impacted payments will be treated the same.
Personally I have set up a google calendar with a meeting set for every AP end date until the end of time. I already have a spreadsheet for my capital balances, naturally! I plan to update my capital balance monthly, as a matter of course.

Never reported each month for being under £6K.
Only time we reported was when Mrs got a large back payment from PIP.
Currently going through a review (2nd one) & in neither case was any payments stopped.
