Are Home Energy ok?

Home Energy appear to have the best rates for a Variable gas and electricity account. Has anyone here joined them> Are they reputable and safe to join?

I was with Home Energy for a few months between fixes. They were ok. I only had one small grumble after leaving them I was in credit and they took another direct debit payment a couple of weeks later. I spoke to them and it was corrected albeit I was told that I had to wait up to two weeks for the refund to be made. They actually refunded in slightly less.

Remember is that it is a variable tariff and if energy prices go up they may increase the rates accordingly.

I'm with them, since about this time last year.

Transfer went ok, bit of initial teething trouble accessing my account on their web site, but they were fairly newbies then and web site had browser incompatibility troubles, all rectified and works fine, I've had no reason or cause to contact them since my initial, and now resolved, problem

No smart meter, so I get monthly reminder to submit my Elect readings, which I do, and all bills have reflected my readings

Although variable rates I have found they have kept competitive during all the changes and not waiting to respond to price changes
