National Parking Control appeal

Good afternoon

I have had a parking charge from National Parking Control stating the t&c were breached - this is a small car park in front of a few businesses (Toolstation, Rodney Road, Portsmouth).

The observation time is stated as N/A and the signage is very poorly. There is no clear sign as you enter this bit off the main road and a small sign on the building (which I only saw on Street View) so I didn't observe to check for this when I parked.

Do I have a chance of appealing this?

I am not too sure if this operator is a member of any scheme, but I noticed on British Parking Association booklet that an observation time of 5 minutes is required.

I have attached the photo of this.

Thank you

    NPC Group are IPC AOS members, not BPA !

    They have to be a member of a scheme in order to get VRM keeper details from the DVLA

    The PCN says customer parking only, so was the driver a customer. ?

    Show us a picture of the signage

    You can appeal it if you want, but they will almost certainly reject it

    Customer only parking - they simply can't prove it.

    It's also not POFA compliant. You could actually appeal on the sole point that you are appealing as Registered Keeper and no liability against you exists as the NtK does not confirm with POFA, specifically the period of parking is absent:

    (2)The notice must—

    (a)specify the vehicle, the relevant land on which it was parked and the period of parking to which the notice relates;

    Alternatively, just ignore.

    Yep but just so the OP knows: we mean IGNORE IT. Not to pay it to make the scam go away! Nobody pays IPC firms.

    PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
