C1 Declaration box 2 address format
Hi, Newbie here, I've learned loads from this forum already. Thanks to all contributors.
My question is whether the deceased and executor addresses should have their house number in words or numerals (which is how the Will addresses are stated)?
If it's relevant the form will be submitted to the Falkirk office of The Sheriffdom of Tayside, Central and Fife in Scotland.

normal to use numerals.
edit. But the addresses do not appear in the box in para 2 unless there is more than one executor or the addresses have changed,

Thanks for the clarification.
I'm now confused when it says in the official 'help notes'
"Any former address referred to in the will or codicil must be shown in the Declaration in the box at the top of page 2."
My dad's former address as listed in the Will has been included in page 2 Declaration, but in part 2 starting That I am… It's four boxes down and hardly "in the box at the top of page 2".
In the box at the top of page 2 I currently only have my full name and address.

There are lots of errors and omissions in the C3. The reference in the C3 to ‘the box at the top of page 2’ is clearly an error. The box at the top of page 2 of the C1 should contain the name and address of the declarant executor.
It was practice to include present and will address in the first box in para 1, when there was a difference - even though the box often isn’t large enough to accommodate this. This is probably what the C3 alludes to. However it seems to be normal practice now to rely on the address difference being referenced in the [That I am] box in para 2 of the C1.
