Morning all

Yesterday was slightly slower with a nice walk and natter with a friend.
Just going to take BDog out then later he has a vet appointment and I need to get a few bits from the shops and pay a visit to the fabric shop.
Dinner is just jacket potatoes and salad so that’s easy which is well as a poor night has made me tired and grumpy,

Morning all, thanks @Gers, have a lovely meal with Lionel's niece - it's nice to be appreciated.

It was a hazy start to the day but the sun is now shining and we could get up to 20 deg this afternoon! Lovely, as I have some washing to put out on my little patio once the WM has finished. In return for ironing DS's stuff yesterday, he's going to use my gardening gadget to zap the weeds while I prune last year's growth off my hydrangea bush - it didn't get done last year so there's a lot to come off! Another easy dinner tonight of cod fishcake, mixed veg and baby potatoes.

@Suffolksue - Have a lovely break in sunny Scarborough, glad the weather is being kind to you.

@SO - Sorry to hear you're now sporting a black eye - take it easy, everything else can wait.

@Chrisca - One sure way of getting a phone response is to go to the loo! Hope your red nose isn't too bad.

@Ruby - You're definitely well shot of O's mother and I hope the PTB will step in soon for his sake. Good luck with getting the money you're owed.

morning everyone I’ve just got in from a cleaning job I called at Lidl on the way home I managed to pick up one of there veg boxes they are 2 pounds now but well worth it this is a really good one I’ve just sat down with a cuppa I’m absolutely shattered I have put the shopping away I will be sitting outside soon the weather is lovely got to make the most of it . Ruby that women is shocking I hope you get paid. Silver oldie take care of yourself. Suffolk sue enjoy your break the Yorkshire coast is lovely. Thinking of all the poorlies hugs to those that need them have a good day whatever you are doing

Nice and sunny here also. Nothing much to do today, washing done yesterday and dried. I've got some steak and kidney in the slow cooker to make into a pie tomorrow. Chicken wrapped in bacon tonight, with some salad I think.
