Morning All
Thanks for the start Gers, hope your cold is abating.
Busy day yesterday, finished painting the woodwork in the laundry, just the emulsion to choose and put on now. Washing all done, dried and put away, some seeds sown and the houseplants all re-potted. Took friends dog out for a good walk and brought her back here where she was very busy exploring the garden, especially behind the shed and greenhouse - hopefully she will have scared off any more furry friends. Had to take her back to her house later as she wouldn't stop barking at nothing.
Hope you hear something soon Ruby.
Glad you and your new lady are getting along Mehefin.
Off to collect the little one in a bit, I'll go on the bus to save fuel and she will enjoy the ride home again. She'll stay here tonight and her Mummy can collect her after work tomorrow. I've laid an Easter Egg hunt for her and have some sun catchers to paint. If the weather stays good we can plant some more seeds too.
Hope you all enjoyed yesterday's sunshine. Take care. XX

Morning again. It was so lovely to see my knickers hanging out on the line for this first time since last September, they all dried so quickly in the sunshine and slight breeze. I bulked out the load with towels.
I'm off down to Glasgow shortly. Lionel's niece is up doing more admin to close off his estate though it'll take many more months. Her and her partner have invited me for lunch at the posh restaurant U Chip, I haven't been there for many years and it's recently been refurbished by new owners so am looking forward to it. That'll be two posh places in one week, I'm being spoilt.
A round of hugs to everyone.

morning from a sunny Scarborough!
It was hot and windy in Whitby yesterday
Hotel is a two star and you get what you pay for but it is clean. ,the food is good but not huge amounts and the staff are friendly so we are all happy ,a very positive thing for me is that I’ve got a double room with a lovely view of Northbay ,I always get a broom cupboard so feel really spoilt
Stay safe all

Morning, thanks Gers, have a safe trip to Glasgow and enjoy your meal.
We are looking after a friend's dog today as well, she'll be ok left in her own house, we'll just pop down and take her out. It's a nice day, so taking her out will be no hardship.
Glad things are going well with your new lady friend Mehefin.
You sound busy Camelot!
Apart from taking friends dog out there's nothing planned except tidying and the usual household jobs. We are trying to go out and walk for a bit every day, so looking after the dog gives us an extra push to get out there.
Hope everyone is ok, take care folks.

Morning folks and thanks GERS. Enjoy your posh nosh. CAMELOT I feel tired just reading all you achieved yesterday!
Yesterday didn't feel as warm as promised as, despite the sun, the blooming wind was still blowing and it felt quite chilly. This morning the wind has finally dropped and we can expect temps of 20 deg. The garden might finally get tidied up a bit. I don't cope well with cold winds these days.
Another pottering day both inside and out today . Bus Buddy has put our bus trips on hold until she has had the all clear from the hospital tomorrow when they will remove all her dressings and inspect her procedure sites.
Have a good day folks if you can with ((HUGS)) as always for our poorlies, sad or lonely. Take care all, be safe x

Thank you for the start @Gers enjoy your lunch
Haven't done much for the past few days, very sore and I now have a black eye.
So much needing to be done but it will have to wait.

Morning all
Just checked weather forecast and we are expecting highs of 22 today!!!!
Sympathies @silver-oldie I was hanging on the phone yesterday trying to get through to boiler people to find out when they were coming to mend ours. Was just coming out of the loo when they answered. I shut the door quick to avoid them hearing the flush of the loo and banged myself on my nose. Have a red nose but luckily no bruising. Felt so stupid lol. Result is they're coming tomorrow.
Hairdresser coming today, thank goodness.
Will potter in the garden when it warms up later.
Have a good day all x

Morning all, thanks Gers, enjoy your posh meal. Its a lovely sunny morning again.
Nothing like a dog for getting you out - even persuaded DH out on a long walk yesterday. His new knee fared pretty well and we stopped for a coffee, needless to say DH had a shortbread biscuit with his. the woodland trust car park has a little mobile coffee shack, with some tables to take in the great views - hills looking one way & in the distance the skyline of M/cr with the tall buildings.
In the afternoon we popped out to a local garden centre and picked up some half priced plants, then I planted them up, brightens things up. Could do with a few more really.
Siver- Oldie that sounds so sore, hope the bruising fades soon.
I'll need to have a forage in the freezer for tonights tea. The cobbled together left over chicken cottage pie thingy went down well, I added mushrooms, leek and bacon, topped with mash.
Enjoy the sunshine everyone.

Bright and sunny here but with a chill in the air it’s great for drying the washing though.
I am off to mums today as i didn’t go Monday, she has got a bit of beef out so I will cook her a roast for today and tomorrow, she wants me to take her electric blanket off of her bed as she is finding it uncomfortable, I will do her meds and washing etc.
I got another load of abusive emails from O’s mum yesterday, she is basically refusing to pay me, so I have opened a small claims court against her it’s become more about principal now, she is getting the money for his care and then withholding it, I have been in contact with another carer of his who will write a statement about how she was treated and how scary she was as she chased her out of the house with her fists raised, I will just have to wait and see what happens but fingers crossed they find in my favour. I could really do without the stress tbh.
Dinner tonight will be cheesy bean pie with some sausages nice and quick when I get in. Wm is on and I will hang the washing before I go out.
Gers enjoy your lunch xxx
Camelot you have been very busy! Xx
Have good days all and take care xx

Morning all and thanks for the start @Gers have a lovely lunch later x
We took the gondola up to view Ben Nevis yesterday and walked along the snowy top of the mountain. Very funny trying not to sink/fall over (failed on both counts!) The weather was glorious yesterday and the boys were in T-shirts.
We are walking a stretch of the Great Glen Way today and will have a picnic alongside Loch Lochy. Weather is back to 10 degrees but that’s okay.
Take care @silver-oldie and @Chrisca50 - not nice to be nursing injuries. I recommend a restful day with feet up and lots of tea xxHope your wages come through soon @RedRuby1231 xx
Have a good day all
