Another Waitrose car park issue
I have tried to figure out by reading lots of threads how best to appeal a parking charge I have received for a 15 minute ‘overstay’. However I’m not sure of the best route and standard wording.
I don’t remember seeing any signage, there were no barriers or payment machines. I was a customer of the store and have returned without issue. It’s the standard approach from Britannia. A notice with a couple of anpr photos with a time in and time out.
I am going to use their website to appeal and will approach the supermarket when possible but it’s not local.
any advice will be gratefully received.

Study the newbies sticky thread in announcements near the top of the forum by coupon mad
Try plan A first, a complaint about the pcn to the landowner or business, as an aggrieved but genuine customer
Try their head office customer service, they are more likely to help
What is the alleged contravention. ?

The store phone number is probably on your receipt. Complain.
Obviously, we expect you've checked your NTK to see if it's non-POFA worded as Britannia ones sometimes are.
Please don't show us and ask us to look! The NTK pictures thread exists for this task.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
