Today will be slightly slower - did my usual yesterday and tried to do everything in one day! Also have a painful foot which Dr Google is a tendon thing and should be rested and iced. Probably should have been doing that 2 weeks ago when it started 🫢 but don’t really have time for rest!
Just a carpet to shampoo this morning then meeting a friend for a wander around the local resevoir later.
Take care all

Morning all, sounds like everyone should have some sun today, well needed and deserved I'd say. DH wants to take LDog out in the car to the woodland trust walk a couple of miles away. My DB1 and SiL want to meet there at some point so he wants to test his knee out first. Met DB2 and family at the match yesterday, and DS2 and DGD came too ( nice to see her, she's not been for ages)
Came home to the curry left from Sat so nice and easy, tonight I want to do something from Sundays left over chicken.
Hope you all have a lovely day and those pesky colds ,falls etc mend soon.

Afternoon all, thanks @Scarlet for today's start off.
It's another lovely mild and sunny day here, perhaps even a tad warmer than yesterday when DS and I went for a wander around a local park; we admired the flower beds, walked around the lake and stopped off at the lakeside cafe for refreshments. It was quite busy but made a welcome change from the usual routine. I did more of my cross stitch when we got home and I reckon I'll have it finished and framed up by the end of the week. Three down, one to go to complete the set of four, but that may go on hold until later in the year. The Easter lamb has been portioned and frozen so the freezer is full - again. 🙄
Today it's back to normal - small top up shop at the Co-op done and this afternoon I'll be ironing some stuff DS is putting on one of the selling sites. There's other bits and pieces he can post while I'm doing that. Easy tea tonight of bacon, chunky oven chips and either beans or egg. Tonight I'll be watching the latest house sort out programme with Stacey Solomon; it doesn't tell me anything I need to know but does make me feel better about my own clutter! 😁
Healing thoughts for those enduring coughs and sniffles, hugs if you need any. Take care all, have a good day. X
