Good morning all.

Morning, thanks for the start @ScarletRibbons. It's looking good outside with a predicted high of 17° later, can't believe that though will be delighted if I'm basking later.
This cold is turning more nasty so I'll probably be having a quiet day. I got a few things off my plate yesterday and a couple more landed soon after so I'll clear them today. The beetroot soup was improved by adding a tin of lentils and a touch of white wine vinegar. I threw in some left over lamb too which I thoroughly enjoyed. There's more to enjoy today too. 😀
Take care all. I hope that our poorlies are on the mend.

Morning again.
It's dry and sunny here, a nice morning.
I've got housework to do today, then we'll go to the quiz tonight.
Hope everyone else is all right, have a good day folks.

Morning all
Looking to be a lovely day today. Got some seeds planted up in the mini greenhouse yesterday so might do some more gardening today too. Nice to have the sun on your back!
Breadmaker to go on once I stir my stumps.
Hope to hear when they're coming to fix our leak/boiler today.
Hope everyone has a good day x

Morning all. Going to reach the glorious heights of 17 degrees if lucky here today.
I'm off to do childcare for DD, as she has her online CIPD course this morning. After that it's a dash home for lunch before my hearing test this afternoon.
Yesterday's cauliflower soup was surprisingly delicious so I'll be making that again. Plus we've now eaten the last of the h/g plums from the freezer. Small wins. I also spent a lot of time yesterday sorting and shredding paperwork from the filing cabinet and got DH to get rid of some things, which is a big win in my book!
Hope everyone else is ok and can enjoy some sunshine today.

Morning All
The sun is shining! Still a bit chilly but due to get warmer this afternoon. Washing will definitely be going out today!
Finished the woodwork painting yesterday, after the yucky undercoat it took 3 coats of the Satinwood, some bits look like they could do with another but it's not going to happen. I have to move the cabinet today to paint the skirting board behind and the door to the kitchen could do with a freshed up so if I have enough paint I'll do that. I've put the door handles and hooks back up so the kitchen is looking a bit clearer.
Once I've painted what I need to I'll take friend's dog out for a walk and she can stay here for the rest of the day whilst I sow some seeds - I'm really behind with that job.
Hope everyone is well and you enjoy the sunshine. Take care. XX

Good morning
Bright and sunny, set to stay that way.
Nothing planned, will see what the day brings. DD and family have been to Butlins over the weekend, so no doubt a catch up with her.
Pork chops for tea, don't know what with, plenty in.
Have a good day all, enjoy the sunshine.

Bright and sunny here too and set to get warmer later, I have a wash on the go so that can be hung out after.
Only one person coming today as the other has an appointment, so we will take the dogs out this morning and then have a walk around the shops (he loves shopping) and get a coffee out.
I need to phone duty back if I’ve not heard anything by lunchtime, I still have had no money and will need it for the end of the month and I know how slowly the system works.
Dinner tonight will be paprika chicken it’s a Mary Berry recipe which we have had before and is tasty.
I got a lot more done in the garden yesterday I am all ready for planting some bedding plants now and once the danger of frost has passed, the radish seeds I planted have sprouted within two days clever little things.
Have good days all and take care xx

Morning folks and thanks SCARLET. A beautiful start for us with all day sun and 18 deg forecast. That'll do nicely.
No lunch with DF today as her doggie has an appointment at the groomers. We have earmarked Thursday instead. So today I am grounded but, as usual, plenty of jobs waiting for my attention. Both inside and out. I have just been banking moving money around. I'm glad I'm not a millionaire as I'd get flummoxed with so much money to keep track of!
Fish out defrosting for dinner, probably with air fryer wedges and sugar snaps. Nice 'n easy. Usual dessert of berries and yogurt.
Have a good day folks if you can with ((HUGS)) for our poorlies, sad or lonely. How are you after your tumble SO? GERS I hope the cold doesn't hang around too long. Take care all, be safe xx

Morning all from sunny but cold and windy Mehefinland
Just realised that this is my 1000th post - it's been a long time coming!!!
Recycling day here so suspect I will be out litter picking later lol. It's always worse when it is windy as I'm sure half of the stuff gets blown back out of the lorry. Our guys are generally pretty good at picking up the odd bits that get dropped.
No other real news- ust the daily stuff really. Need to organise more horse bedding, and some coal for the Rayburn.
Take care all, hugs and spoons as always
Mehefin aka Derek
