Too late to fund IWeb/Scottish Widows S&S ISA?
I'll possibly get some flack for this, but I don't have a time machine!
Does anyone know if I make a debit card payment to iweb today if it will still go into the 2025-26 tax year?
The only thing I can find that says this would work is referring specifically to some kind of 'done for you' SW offering.
Appreciate any info thanks 👍

Chaps? On a Sunday?
CMC Invest sent an email today saying that debit card and faster payments deposits it receives today before 23.59 will count as contributions for 25/26. You could make your deposit to a broker which accepts deposits today and then transfer the Isa to iWeb/SWSD.

I would have thought that a debit card payment to iweb/sw today would go into the 2025/2026 ISA. In my experience all debit card payments into them are credited immediately.

Are you going to be funding that ISA (or any other for that matter) in 2026/27 too, i.e. is there anything to lose by just trying it anyway? Or do you have any other ISAs open where you'd be able to guarantee deposit acceptance today, for subsequent transfer?

This is of course subject to the provider accepting the payment.

"To count towards your 2025/26 allowance, ISA top ups must be made by debit card before 23:59 on 05 April. "

Debit card payments register instantly. You have another hour still if paying by card.
