Thought it was worth an update to your link, the guy when back to Waitrose.

That's true, the local store fought for him but HR could see the litigious precedent it could set - a bit of a bind! Waitrose colleagues are unfailingly courteous instore and I do get the impression they are there because they want to be.

Much as I like our local store, the prices are just crazy! Its always worth looking out for the offers though.

That's great for the guy in question. I would imagine the Waitrose store would be better for him, likely to be a little quieter, and an environment and people he's already comfortable with. Good on both Asda & eventually Waitrose too 👍️

Morrisons had lots of stock today but the reductions weren't enough to make me purchase

Waitrose had lots of chocolate eggs available yesterday, reductions varied between 0% (Lindt etc) to 20% (premium own brand / mid-range branded) to 33% (premium own brand) to 50% (on the cheapest).

What intrigued me were what was replacing it on the seasonal aisles - great big tubs (600g) of crisps! Clearly a 150g family pack is no longer sufficient for days out / sessions in front of sporting events.
