Morning @Gers, morning all. The weather yesterday was a real mixed bag of sun, rain and wind whereas today is just 'overcast' and a bit so-so. However, Storm Dave has been extended to cover where I am late tonight and into Sunday but I doubt it will be as bad as further north, especially Scotland - fingers crossed he passes quickly with minimal damage anywhere.
I'm already confused with what day it is and was convinced yesterday was Saturday - I haven't made up my mind yet for today! It doesn't matter though as I've nothing in particular planned and will be going with the flow. I'll cook my Sunday lamb joint today to make it easier for slicing tomorrow when it can be heated up in gravy and the rest portioned and frozen. Beef stir fry for tea tonight, afters might be a choc ice or a sticky toffee pudding.
@TA - Happy birthday to your DD, hope you enjoy tonight's meal out.
@Chrisca - Glad to hear your new heater is helping to warm up your room but being without hot water is a real pain - it just shows how much we take things for granted.
Healing wishes for those suffering from the current batch of coughs and colds and and any other ailments; hugs for those struggling with life's ups and downs. Have a peaceful weekend all and take care. X

HI everyone,
We've just finished the promised house clean, still got to do a wash and some grocery shopping. My stomach has been a bit overwhelmed this week so it will be veggies or fish for the next few days.
The family got up to Glasgow ok, it was a long drive for the little ones but apparently they were troupers. The weather doesn't seem too bad up there at the moment. But Laura's bemoaning the fact they didn't take the children's big coats.
Have a good day and a happy Easter day if I don't manage to post tomorrow.
