The 12 dissolved companies is run by a property developer. Obviously he employs tradesman. If you were a tradesman, would you work for him ?

If a property developer successfully developed one property in each company in succession, made a fortune on each and the dissolved the very solvent company after the property was sold, that would not be a red flag.
If the rumour was they made their profits by not paying contractors, that would be a red flag.

You cannot conclude anything absolutely by only looking at the number of dissolved companies. There can be a myriad of reasons for that occuring and the time-frame makes a difference as well.
A property developers might well be sure to look after good tradespeople so that the same quality is available for the next development. Is the "word on the street" that this individual does not pay the tradespeople once the work is done?
