It's public domain information, why are you redacting it (poorly)?

I thought highlighting the name/company of someone was not allowed? Shall I just put the link with the Guy's name?

It's just too many screenshots; what are you trying to achieve? Are you trying to decide whether or not to take a job or invest in a particular company run by a particular person?

I worked for this guy and he was dodgy, wondering if I had seen all his dissolved companies would this indicate he was dodgy? And to look out for this in future with employers

If you (rightly) don't want to be dissolve-shaming a particular individual, why is it necessary to post a dozen screenshots of what could be anything about anyone. If you say someone has half-a-dozen dissolved companies to their name we'll believe you.

    Please delete them.

What loss did you suffer as a result of your association with this individual?

In what capacity did you have an association with this individual?

With more specific information, the forum may be able to give advice as to whether there is any route to recover / mitigate your losses.

12 dissolved companies. He owed me money. Lost at small claims but heard from someone in property game he can't be trusted. Wondered if 12 dissolved companies was an indication ofvtjis without me having to ask people in the industry

And to use this number of dissolved companies in future as an indicator of an untrustworthy employer

There is no magic number of dissolved companies that acts as an indicator of an untrustworthy employer.

However, if this were someone asking about using a tradesperson and they identified a history of repeated business dissolution, this forum would probably suggest that the individual either avoided that tradesperson or took appropriate specific steps to protect their money prior to successful work being completed.

In that case, most times, I think people would suggest that 12 dissolved companies met the threshold of "a history of repeated dissolution".

The same caution is required in the case of B2B scenarios / taking employment from the associated companies.

    Can I suggest:

    1. You go back and read my earlier post about the reasons why companies might be dissolved and why that may or may not be a red flag.
    2. Go back to Companies House and check that the individual you are concerned about, lets call her or him "Adam" for now, actually has 12 dissolved companies.
    3. People with the name Adam might well have 12 dissolved companies. But Adam is quite a common name and you might find that your particular "Adam" only have been involved with three different companies:
      1. one being the one you mentioned with lots of net assets and Adam being the only shareholder and director (not a red flag)
      2. one being a community interest company where Adam was two of 11 directors (a director for two separate periods) resigning more than 16 years ago and which was dissolved more than five years after he left - not a red flag
      3. one being a dormant company that does not appear to ever have traded - not a red flag

If what I have written above is correct, there is not a single red flag in there.

I'm not talking about the first company I asked about with director Adam. I'm talking about a different person when i refer to the 12 dissolved companies. As a tradesman would you work for someone with 12 dissolved companies?
