Child benefit for high earners
my husband earns over £100k although sometimes we manage to bring it to just under £100k with pension contributions but not always possible.
I earn £25k. We have 2 children but never claimed child benefit (opted for no payments).
I am wondering if it is still worth me claiming it and putting it into childrens premium bonds or some saving account for them even though I know that my husband will have to pay it back in tax.
The hope that they might win something or earn interest. Is it worth doing or a waste of time?

It would be worth doing from yours and the children's perspective.
But have you discussed this with your husband, he will be the one out of pocket and have the tax side of things to deal with.
