Bank Card or Credit Card?
Many years ago it was safer to use a Credit Card for online purchasing. Is this still the case?
ie am I more likely to get a refund with a credit card or a bank card? Or in 2026 is it likely the same cover exists for both?

No difference between them in terms of protection, Other than S75 on credit card between £100 & £30K for breach of contract &/or misrepresentation.

Just to amplify on the above, there are two ways of recovering funds after paying by card, namely section 75 and chargeback.
Section 75 doesn't apply to debit cards so is the area where credit cards offer more protection, in the circumstances briefly summarised above and with a few more caveats listed at
