Morning all,looking back it seems I havent read for a couple of days. We were out most of the day yesterday so I just forgot.

Just had an O***o order, all put away now. DH & DS are out doing some car stuff so a bit of peace and quiet :)

My cousin is picking me up after lunch so we can go and visit our eldest cousin in a care home. Her own home was in a really bad state, she fell and the police had to break in & get paramedics but apparently she is not allowed back, so was discharged there after a few weeks in hospital. She hasn't spoken to the rest of us for years so it could be tricky but we feel like we have to give it a try.

Ruby sorry you're having to go through a bad situation again 😕

Hope the poorlies feel better for Easter. It's quite a nice day here, I had a lovely early walk with Ldog but think it's going worse again at weekend - hope it doesn't. Take care all.

Morning All

It was cold and frosty when I left for work this morning, very thick ice on the car. Now still chilly but beautiful blue skies and sunshine. Did anyone see the moon last night? It was quite beautiful.

Gosh Ruby, I was thinking of Rob's situation, how are some people so cruel? Well done to you for stepping up for this young man when he doesn't have anyone else.

Glad you enjoyed your meal Gers, always good when you want more!

Have a great trip Coxy although sadly it looks like the weather may not be on your side.

I heard from the friends I was to be visiting this weekend, they are going away next week and asked if I could change my visit so I don't feel guilty now. Feeling a bit better today thankfully.

Hi again

Have just had a phone call cancelling my surgery today, rescheduled for May 15th. Really disappointed, just wanted it over and done with.

Gas engineer came. Have to have a new pipe from meter cupboard into the loft. Can't do it until next week sometime and not on the service contract either so no heating, hot water and a big bill at the end of it. That's the third thing after holiday cancellation, broadband/tv issues. Grrrrrrrrr
