I suspect that it's unlikely that change of ownership grants any unilateral free termination rights that you didn't already have in your contract, but if the actual service delivery isn't compliant with what they've committed to provide then you're entitled to pursue them to remedy this…

Is it still brsk that's your provider and with whom you have a contract? If so, then no, them being bought by another business doesn't create an entitlement to break the contract for nothing, unless the terms of the contract say so.

    Found this at https://www.brsk.co.uk/brsk-youfibre-faq

Given this isn’t the company that I signed up for, can I terminate my contract without penalty?

Although the brand name is changing, the company providing your service and the terms of your contract aren’t changing. Your broadband service, price, contract terms, and level of support all remain the same, so the contract continues as normal and wouldn’t be eligible for penalty-free cancellation.

Just had similar with my Cityfibre provider, they sold their client list to Onefibre. No change to Ts and Cs which I only signed up for a month ago with my old provider. 2 year fix with no increases.

This is the second time it has happened to us, but it is no surprise as there are now dozens of smaller broadband providers so there will be changes in the market as not all can survive.

    https://www.thinkbroadband.com/news/10093-brsk-and-netomnia-merger-agreed

They merged with the company behind YouFibre about 2 years ago so it appears that the company you're contracting with hasn't changed, they've just thrown everything under the YouFibre brand and from the sounds of merged the Brsk support into YouFibre support.
