Excel parking - over stayed my ticket time
I over stayed my ticket time by 13 minutes having paid for 2 hours parking.
I appealed on the basis of a template letter from this site & this appeal got rejected.
In the rejection letter is states I have the option to appeal to IAS.
Qu 1…Is it worth me making this appeal?
Qu 2…I've read somewhere there is a grace period of 10 mins when parking, not sure if time taken to park, leave car park & pay is added to this grace period. IE if it went to court could I defend myself on this 13 minute over stay.
Qu 3…I've read Excel routinely instigate court action, Do the routinely follow this through, IE turn up at court.
Thanks in anticipation of replies.

- NO
- Study the grace periods section in the IPC Joint Code of Practice , don't speculate, yes its part of a defence strategy
- Yes , although its usually an advocate, not Excel, not their chosen lawyers either
