Vinted query - print at home Royal Mail?

Hi, I've just sold my first ever item on Vinted. The buyer has chosen Royal Mail, but I can only seem to get a QR code to scan in the shop. I hate these as have had no end of issues with them.

When selling RM via ebay, I prefer to print the label at home and book a free RM collection.

Is there any way that I can get a print at home label for a Royal Mail item I've sold on Vinted?

Thanks.

I don't think so but the only issue I ever get is when a parcel locker has run out of printer paper. I do a few in the post office and they always work ok todate

I have never had a problem with getting the QR code scanned at the post office.

    Me neither

Everything will be alright in the end so, if it’s not yet alright, it means it’s not yet the end

What worries me about QR codes is if I'm posting more than one parcel and get them mixed up.

I sell on eBay but not Vinted and only offer RM so I can print the label as I wrap each parcel up.

Just write and tape on the name of the recipient as that's included with the QR code in the email. And I also screenshot the code then you can give the picture a name and then write that same name on the parcel so you know which to use. As DH often drops my parcels off for me we have a set of shared photo folders, one for Evri, one for In Post and one for Royal Mail with pictures of all the QR codes for postage.

I'm the opposite, connecting to our printer is an absolute pain so I always prefer getting the courier company to do the printing

Unfortunately on Vinted the only option is a QR code. I have disabled RM myself on Vinted, too many issues with it not showing as sent. However if I get Relay or DPD parcels they are QR codes only and as I send quite a few I just use my label printer to print the QR code and the shop can scan the parcels as they go and add the labels.

I appreciate it works for you but it seems a faff from my perspective as all I do is click on 'get prepaid label' then 'print'.

I have no issues with my printer.

Thanks for the replies. Seems like I'm stuck with the QR codes at Vinted.

I came to that conclusion some time ago.

That;s why I only sell on eBay. Not Vinted. But use RM.
