Oaknorth
Hi Im new here so forgive me if I'm going about this the wrong way.
I've been trying to open a joint fixed term account with Oaknorth for 2 days but every time I get to "enter email" and press next I get an error message "unexpected error has occurred." Ive spoken to Oaknorth by phone and they say theres nothing wrong with their website. Should I look elsewhere to invest?

Do you mean right at the start where it says "Email", & when you enter it & press "Next" you get the error message?
If so, it's not Oaknorth, because I just tried it for the 24 month fixed & it moved on to the next screen with no problem for me.
Haven't continued further than that because I don't want an account, though we've saved with Oaknorth before & been happy enough.
Seen it all, done it all, can't remember most of it.2 -

sounds like there is a problem with your email. is it a foreign email address? are you sure you have entered your email correctly?

Bing is a search engine rather than a browser - if you're having problems with Microsoft Edge, I would try Chrome.

i find that sometimes a browser will not work, so yeah, try a different browser will help.

We use Chrome, which in turn uses Google to search.
