Morning all, thanks @Gers for the thread start. Today's weather is much improved, cloudy but with sunny intervals, a gentle breeze and feeling milder. Like others, the missing hour left me feeling tired and grumpy but, after an earlier bedtime and a full 7 hours of uninterrupted sleep, I'm feeling more human now. 😁

I've nothing out of the ordinary to do today and don't even have to make tea tonight as DS is taking over the kitchen to make a prawn curry. I'll be banned from the kitchen so I plan to use my free afternoon sorting through household linens to see if there's anything that can be culled. He said yesterday's interview seemed to go well but he'll not hear either way until the end of next week and isn't relying on getting it; he has two more interviews lined up, one on Thursday and another on Friday.

@Gers - Safe journey, hope the scan goes well.

@Scarlet - Enjoy your new-look kitchen and have a lazy day today!

@Chrisca - Fingers crossed the boiler turns out to be in good health.

@Ruby - I'm glad you had a nice weekend away but what a shame your placement with O has ended in such a dramatic way. I wonder if his mother's behaviour is part of the reason previous carers haven't lasted? Glad you're safe though.

@remmie - Good luck with the cataract op.
