It's very murky outside… low lying cloud and mist. Overnight was calm for a change.
I managed to rearrange my CT scan yesterday, it's for late this morning so have to skedaddle! Hope that all are well and warm. Happy days away for those doing that. Hugs. x

Morning All
Thanks for the start Gers, hope you have a good journey.
Murky here too, seems spring has forgotten us here at the moment.
Just when I thought I was feeling better my cold is back (or it's another one), back to sneezing with a hacking cough, thank goodness we finish on Thursday for the holidays.
Nothing much to report here, must go and see about new tyres for the car after work, should have gone yesterday but forgot until after the place had closed.
Hoping everyone is well, take care. XX

Good morning, thanks Gers. Hope your scan goes all right.
Seems fine here, yesterday we had heavy showers with a cold wind .
We finally finished the kitchen and it looks very nice, we used a slightly different colour and it's better than the one we originally chose.
Nothing much on today, we'll go to the quiz as usual tonight though.
I'm glad you've got your parents settled Dp1, what a time you've had.
Hope everyone has a good day, take care folks.

morning everyone thanks for the start Gers overcast here but at least that wind has dropped I’m off out to a cleaning job soon I think the clock changes has affected me I’ve felt tired the last few days . Remmie good luck with your cataract op I know what you mean it’s the same in here you shouldn’t feel guilty about putting yourself first and it’s annoying that they have to be reminded it’s selfish. It will be a dog walk later hopefully a bit warmer one I was pleased when she didn’t want to sniff every blade of grass we passed yesterday it was freezing. Thinking of all, the poorlies hugs to those that need them have a good day everyone whatever you are doing

Looking murky out there but calmer and the temperature has gone up a notch. Must pop down local supermarket to get a couple of things I forgot at the weekend and then probably have an hour in the garden.
Boiler man coming this afternoon to do the yearly service. Hope it gets a clean bill of health.
Apart from that nothing else going on
Have a good day all x

Morning all
It’s a bit grey and overcast here this morning and we are due rain later, I have two people coming today but one needs to be home by 1 for the dentist so I will take the other one for a cup of tea somewhere afterwards.
We had a lovely weekend away the house was really beautiful and right on the beach, the dogs loved the walks especially on camber sands. The weekend was slightly marred by O’s mum, it’s a long story which I will tell later when I have more time, but she flipped at O and I on Thursday last week screaming and shouting at us both, and she is now withholding my payment, I had to make a lot of phone calls yesterday when we got back and had to complete a safeguarding for him, she also threatened to kill another carer 😳 I will explaine more later but I won’t be going back as I don’t feel safe!
Not sure about dinner tonight I have a shop coming tomorrow so we will have to manage for tonight but we have bits in.
DP1 I was so happy to hear your parents have been reunited xxx
Have good days all and take care xx10 -
Morning folks and thanks GERS. I hope all goes well with the scan.
A much better start here too. The wind has finally dropped, it's fine and feels milder too. Has Spring finally got here!
I feel half doped this morning. Last night I had one of the rare good sleeps but I feel worse for it. Like Izzy I'm thinking the clock change has upskittled my system.
It's lunch day with DF today unless I hear differently. I await an update any time now on how the land lies with her, her DH or the dog! They seem to take it in turns! If it's off I really should make a start on sorting the garden, both back and front, as the winter has played havoc as usual.
Have a good day folks if you can with ((HUGS)) for our poorlies, sad or lonely. Take care all x

I had a delivery yesterday, small one but my Easter one is on Thursday. Might pop and get some of the cheap veg-DH is going for his haircut this morning, and the barber is near a Morries.
Nothing much else happening today so I'll wish you a good day.

Good morning
Dry and mild here. Shopping today, I need to get "hubby friendly" food in, ready for Thursday. That basically means a ready meal he can microwave when we get in from my surgery. He is strictly of the can't cook, won't cook variety. I often ask him what he would do if I wasn't here.
Ruby, how distressing for you when you were so happy there. Hope you get your payment sorted out.
Chicken kievs tonight, with usual chips for him and new potatoes for me, with salad and coleslaw.
Have a good day all, take care.
