How do I remove these curtain tracks? (sorted)
Hi
………….too late……. I applied my expertise at breaking things, and broke it…………
I intend to paint my walls, and want to remove fixtures from the wall.
I'm not sure how to remove the curtain tracks to get access to the screws. Conscious not to break it. It felt like there was a moving part underneath one, but the other 3 weren't moving :/
Any ideas, please?
Thanks for ignoring the spiderwebs 🙈

They look very much like some 'Swish' ones that we had.
You should be able to detach the long rails from the brackets screwed to the wall by.…giving the bottom of the long rail a sharp tap upwards. The parts are held together by an interlocking dovetail joint. Hope that helps. Once the rails are detached you will be able to unscrew the wall brackets.

It needed a pull out and upwards. Done for 3, but broke the last one because I didn't move the stool so I stood underneath it. Didn't want to let go of it, as it was heavy and was more worried about damaging the wall.
Oh well, I had no long-term intentions for it.
