Flexible ISA

Struggling to find a flexible ISA provider where direct gilts are available …

Freetrade - very small conventional gilt selection, no ILG Trading 212- None, ETF only Lightyear - None, ETF only Fidelity - None, ETF only Barclays Smart Investor - Possibly but didnt like the lack of app functionality so transferred out

Any suggestions?

Why not keep the direct gilts in a GIA rather than an ISA? They're exempt from CGT so very little tax liability if you go for low coupon.

Charles Stanley offers a flexible Isa and, including T41F, appears to offer gilts. Have a look at Quidco and Topcashback for account opening offers.

Having the same thoughts really, buying T41F and making most of 5.3% rate that I can withdraw/reinvest and if rates drop before 2041 to low 2% aelsell it, if not let it mature.

Theres also T56 with 5.6% now real yield.. but that may be too long although I can't imagine rates not going down in the next 30 years, although who knows.. looking back in history 5% seems low, but then 2009 crash took it down a lot and I guess if AI crash ever happens same could happen.

Yes, but sold it a few weeks later for a profit!

Reinvested in LDGG instead.
