moorside legal- NCP car park

Hi all,

just received a legal notice from moorside legal to pay 170£ for NCP car park parking ticket. The issue is when I first parked here I was meant to use the code provided by the hotel so I would get free six hour parking cause I worked at the hotel but the tablet to type it wasn’t working so I did not enter the code I did email it to NCP explaining all this when I received this ticket for the first time but it looks like they still passed it over to moorside legal and I’m in no means to pay 170 quid as a fine. I even emailed the issue to the hotel and they aren’t being helpful either

could anyone of you help me deal with this mess

cheers

    Read the “Newbies” thread.

You DO NOT OWE £170, it's a scam approved by the not fit for purpose BPA and IPC. It is not a law and just a try on by Moorside who are going qagainst the Supreme Court.

Moorside are adding £70 which is a feeble attempt of DOUBLE RECOVERY which is not allowed.

Standard Moorside rubbish to indicate you will get a CCJ causing problems with your credit ? This is total rubbish because they first have to win and even then a court will order X number of days to pay so if you do, there is no CCJ

Such junk letters should be sent to the Competition and Markets Authority (CMA) who are currently investigating companies who mislead the public

Recently the CMA fined a parking company over £400.000

No reason why the dodgy legals should not be subject to a CMA investigation

MOORSIDE ARE MISLEADING YOU AND IN TURN THE COURTS

I would send such a leetter to the CMA because this rubbish must stop

    Indeed.

Even if Moorside try a claim you can add that fact to the template defence. Moorside dob't attend hearings anyway.
