Hanley Economic Emails
Hot on the heels of Hanley Economic's recent poor form in forgetting to send out an email notification of interest rate reductions (coupled with poor grammar in the email they sent after realising their mistake- "should of" instead of "should have" and a complaints manager who seemed upset by people having the nerve to complain about not being informed), I've just received an email telling me about their fixed rate savings account offerings. The only problem is, none of the apparent links seem to be links at all, particularly the ones that say "View All Savings Accounts" and "Book Savings Appointment". Has anyone else received this email and, is it just me or does it seem like whoever is responsible for sending out their emails needs a performance review?
At first I thought it might have been because Outlook sent the email to my junk folder, but there are other clickable links in the email so that shouldn't be the issue.

I received the email, and the links, from Outlook using Brave browser, all work OK for me.

All the links in my email work fine, too (Gmail/Chrome)

Strange, the only ones that work in my email are the ones in the text body (e.g. FRI35/36 and "see our website")

None of the links work for me - using MS outlook office email client

Hanley uses tracking links in their emails to see who has clicked (of the form https://thehanley.us12.listmanage.com/track/…). Online privacy tools/settings may neutralise these and cause the effect some are experiencing.

You'd hate Hull then, a heck of a lot of people say and write "should of" simply because that's how it's pronounced.

I don't think it's just a Hull thing, it's common throughout the UK. But you're right, should've and should of sound pretty much identical so most people think it's the latter. If only they'd paid attention in school.

It isn't just a Hull thing I'd agree but it is very common in Hull to the point that English teachers routinely tell their pupils to "avoid Hullisms in your exam". For what it's worth I write "should've" but when speaking I'm far more likely to say "should of" rather than "should have".
