Barclays bank £200 switch offer ended?

Yesterday Barclay's helpline told my wife the £200/£2k deposit switch deal has ended. Is that true?

She had already setup a new account and had tried completing the switch process, but it failed? Anyone else heard this or has same problem?

Did think we could try the £400 switch / £4k deposit deal, but dont have the required salary level, but have adequate savings, again anyone else tried that route?

It's still showing on the Barclays site with an end date of 28th May so looks active to me.

I called Barclays help line and got inconsistent info, re switch bonuses. One guy said £200 deal has stopped and only the £400 deal available, another said both deals still running. Their web pages also have conflicting info, on different links/paged. And as others mention when you start a switch there's no bonus confirmation in any emails.

Tbh if I wasn't just doing this to bag the £200 bonus, I def wouldn't sign up and use Barclays bank. Sounds and looks like noone there know what they are doing.

Yes. I got similar results asking in a branch. Two of them giving different opinions. One of them persuaded me to go for it, so I have. Process underway . I'll post if I hear anything, but personally I'm not expecting to get it.
