Passport documents
Have had an absolute mare with the Passport Office disputing my name for my renewal. Long story so won't bore you with all the details but its meant me sending two extra lots of docs to them in the post.
During the initial application, I paid extra for recorded delivery but I assume this doesn't include all the extra stuff I've had to send to them since to then?
They've finally approved my application but should I/is there any point trying to arrange for them to post back my documents back AGAIN by recorded delivery? Or are there just too many chefs in the kitchen meaning my docs will just get sent back in whatever manner regardless of whether I try and ring up and pay for recorded delivery?
It's been such a long drawn out unnecessary affair and I just don't want anymore stress!
Thank you

Zero point - the chances of your request reaching the right person is next to nil.

I think we are going to need more details...

That's what I suspect. Thank you.
In response to Emmia, thankyou. I'm only after opinions on whether there is any point trying to contact the Passport Office in order to try and pay for my documents to be posted back to me via Recorded Delivery.
I did already pay the original extra postage fee in my original application but a few extra documents have been sent to them since then.

You can always make the request - but I doubt anybody here can give a definitive answer.
Presumably these are key documents such as birth and marriage certificates ?

That depends, did you actually speak to the proper case handler? Did they give you their telephone number or email address? If they did you possibly have a slim chance though doubt they are personally responsible for the return given our case was moved around the country a few times I'm guessing they digitise the records and case handlers look at them not the original papers else the Mrs paperwork went over and back the Irish Sea a few times.
