Oh dear, plot lost - this is going to take some unpicking! Came by to add yesterday's Lid!s non-perishables shop (which I have done, £67.70) but realised I haven't added last weekend's shop. So I'm off to trawl through the bank account & any surviving receipts to try to work out what I spent! I think it will be around £77…
ETA: way out! It was actually £84.52, leaving me with £230.65 spent and £219.35 left to play with…Angie - GC April 26 £146.13/£450: 2026 Fashion on the Ration Challenge: 10/66: (Money's just a substitute for time & talent...)6 -

After 3 shops in Al*I, this month's balance is standing at £270.92, and still 2 weeks to go.
The good thing is we have dog food to last the month, and after defrosting and rearranging the freezer we easily have enough in there for us. Meal planning under way. I'm actually finding it quite exciting. Even if we do go over budget, (which I expect we will), at least I'm making more of an effort.

Thanks @PipneyJane ! Between some strategic regular purchases later this month for ham, fruit and yoghurt, I’ll probably rack up another 2500 points with my Morrisons More card.
Yesterday I visited M & S to pick up a few items but primarily our usual 1L bottle extra virgin olive oil (£8.50). They didn’t have it in stock because they’ve brought in the new summer line of oils and ours is a small M & S store. I went onto the M & S site and checked they still have that oil for sale in the big Glasgow store. We’re heading there tomorrow so I’ll stop in to buy two bottles to last us the next couple months. That will cost us £17.00.
£17.80 at M & S for clementines (2.80), bananas (1.80), parsley (85p), 3 cans of baked beans (1.35), red pesto (2.20), 350g extra mature cheddar (2.80)., sliced ham (4.50), and dark cooking chocolate (1.50)
Total £228.86 / £350 spent. £121.14 remaining.

Spends to report
Yesterday £0.75p on eggs at the Co-@p (for DGD, who requested an omelette ). I had a 25p off coupon for eggs, and then a further 50p off your next shop.
Just went to H/B and Aldi
£1.18 H/B. Didn't even think to grab more air fresheners.
£11.18 in Ald! ( Mainly on fruit, bread and some fizzy water). Also in Aldi!, a £9.99 bulk buy spend on coffee. I purchased the big 1kg bag I see someone on here often buys (sorry I can't remember who it is).
Also, I added the wrong spend from Amazon, so need to adjust the £2.80 to £2.12

Good morning All
I have a shop to declare. I think I went a bit mad in L!dl yesterday. Popped in to get some milk and some crème fraiche, discovered a freezer full of frozen Greek delights and came away with filo pastry pies, frozen squid and frozen mussels! £30.74 spent.
Here are the full details: 1L lactose free milk 3x84p (voucher), 1kg frozen sweetcorn £1.49, 900g frozen peas £1.15, 630g frozen squid £7.99, 300ml crème fraiche 2x75p, potted basil 79p, 632g bananas 57p, Maasdam cheese slices £2.99, filo pastry pie 2x£3.99, 450g frozen mussels £3.49.
On the plus side, I did manage to get rid of an absolutely filthy £1 coin, which I got in my change from a self-service checkout at Sainsbugs last month. When I tried to spend it at the same Sainsbugs, using a self-checkout last week, the machine rejected it.
The above brings our GC spend to £139.20/£180 leaving £40.80 for the rest of the month.

Afternoon all,
I haven't done a delivery this week as really haven't needed much:
Asda Delivery pass - £6.95
Greengrocers - £15.68
Co-op - £1.11 (YS Bread along with a free roll on my coupons)
I do still need a couple of bits - coffee mainly and some teabags so will pop in somewhere over the weekend. I might also pop to the greengrocers tomorrow for some early season asparagus which was looking lovely the other day and maybe some ham \ cheese for DD sandwiches next week but other than that I am ticking along nicely.
