Worcester Bosch fixed price repair and repair plan
Has anyone recently used the Worcester Bosch fixed price repair for their boiler?
I have a few things that need doing on my trusty, but old, Greenstar Cdi; diverter valve replacement, replace the plate heat exchanger, leaky keyless filling loop and possibly others, so the £381 in that respect would seem reasonable. I have looked at their repair plan for this but they do stipulate that "scale repair, sludge and blockages" isn't covered so probably won't sort my issues out.

I used it ( I thought price had now gone up?) But nearly all the innards of the cdi were replaced. Money well spent.

Did you have an initial fault and then they just went ahead and replaced other things? How old was your boiler? Mine's a good 18 years old but still has life in it.

It had a fault that they fixed and also located items that were considered suspect ( such as signs of weeping/corrosion) so actually changed virtually all the internals.
Age was about 12+ years.
The engineer was excellent and really knew his stuff. All the parts were in his van and job completed in an afternoon.
Done on the recommendation of my gas service engineer.
