Euro Car Parks alleged overstay claim form

Good evening,

In 2020 I was able to have a CCJ set aside and ultimately defeat VCS's claim against me using the information and advice from this forum. Since then I have been scrupulous in my use of car parks overseen by predatory private firms. Unfortunately, my partner has not been so careful…..

We have a Claim Form (N1SDT) sent by DCB on behalf of Euro Car Parks for an alleged overstay.

I have two questions I'm hoping you can be kind enough to help with while I get back up to speed on how this murky world works.

I will be instructing my partner to file a data subject access request with Euro Car Parks tomorrow to help with drafting a defence. My first question is do I need to submit this to DVLA too? I think I recall doing this last time to see who had asked for keeper details and when, though I cant recall the relevance of why.

Secondly, we have an N1SDT is this the same as the N180 referred to in 'newbies'?. The issue date is 12.3.26. I know when I did this previously someone (Keith maybe?) would kindly come along and set out dates for when to return the form and when to submit a defence by.

Thanks in advance for your help. It is sad in the years I've been away from the forum that thousands of people are still having to fight this, and that the PPC consultations /proposed legislative changes have come to nothing.

Dont submit it to either, no need at this early stage and not needed for the defence

Use the template defence in announcements near the top of the forum

The N1SDT claim form is what you have received from the CNBC in Northampton

The N180 stage will come in a couple of months, when the CNBC post it

The AOS can be submitted anytime this month, online, on MCOL

The defence deadline is 4pm on 14th April, copy and paste into MCOL when ready

    No SAR.

    No emailing the CNBC.

Put the template defence in in MCOL as per the 8 steps in the Template Defence thread.

With an issue date of 12/03/26 and providing you complete(d) the AoS after 17/03/26 and before or on 31/03/26 your defence deadline date is 4.00 p.m. on 14/04/26
