live in Norfolk - is a Merlin Gold pass worth it?

So i'm thinking of getting myself an Merlin Gold pass for myself and 10yo Son. He loves theme parks and so do i. but Am i too far to actually benefit?

My idea this year Easter Hols - Thorpe Park 2 day

May Half Term trip to London - Dungeons, Eye, Madam Tussauds. Maybe Shrek adventure and Sealife (not too fussed about them)

Summer Hols - Poss Thorpe park/Alton Towers Though im planning an Holiday abroad for a week

October - Alton Towers 2 nights maybe waterpark(don't think that's included?) if i stay long enough annual leave dependent may look at Warrick castle and Cadbury world? but neither really worried about.

i also have an local Sealife closeby which may get a couple of visits.

is it worth it?

It's not difficult to make it pay , I was not obsessed like many but found excuse for the odd visit to cover the costs. We were based about an hour and half from Thorpe Park, 2 hours ish from Alton Towers.

The good thing is once you have done a few trips the rest are free !.
