NtK - Gorleston - Total Car Parks
The owner of a vehicle has been sent an NtK for overstayed Free Parking time (26 minutes).
The driver went to pay the machine for 2 hours and noticed it didnt accept cash, they already had the app installed and proceeded to pay. A glitch must have occured as it wasnt till last week they noticed no monies were debited. They checked the app history and again nothing to show. This is unusual as being a Menal Health nurse, they use this app and various others frequently given the nature of their job (home visits etc) and they're all paid for by their Trust so absolutely no reason not to pay.
I have attached the notice, please can anyone advice if we can fight this charge?
TIA

Appeals won't work. But DO NOT PAY.
Best bet is Plan A as explained in the NEWBIES FAQS thread, top of the forum.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

The Protection of Freedom paragraph on the back quotes 30 days beginning with day after, rather than 28 days beginning with the day after; sometimes I think that they just make it up.

I'm likely to get shot down in flames here, but I've looked and I can't really figure out what i need to do? I "think" I have to appeal the PCN via the Total Car Parks webpage on the basis that I am under no obligation to name the driver? Can anyone be more specific so I don't get it wrong?
TIA, a newbie :)

That is certainly one appeal the RK can use, although its actually denying any liability as keeper too
Just don't expect a cancellation by the private parking company
Yes you can appeal, dont expect any appeal to work

Ok that's interesting. So if an appeal won't work what are you suggesting? Should I appeal anyway, then get the Popla number and then appeal to them?
Can you advise what my plan of action should/will be?

That is certainly one plan and is what the newbies sticky thread in announcements near the top of the forum tells you to do
My point is, don't expect a win, so plan A is always best
May newbies expect that appealing will obtain a cancellation, but its wishful thinking in many cases
Whatever you do, dont pay !

I already advised you : Plan A and I told you where to read about it.
I did not tell you to appeal.
