Damage to PVC Front door.
Hello.
About 18 months ago, some little darling kicked my front door and caused a crack, but I've noticed that since this year, it seems to be expanding.
Can anybody recommend a DIY repair job? I know it won't be pretty, but if l can l want to try to stop the cracking any further.
So far, my ideas include filling with some type of caulk or just putting some white insulation tape over it.

Better off buying an infill panel or the full door panel.
You haven't shown us the full pic of the door so we don't know the full door construction.
Go here and have a look at the prices for an idea of cost.
Send the bill to the little darlings parents or who is responsible for them.

Thanks for the link.
I don't really want to spend money on it if l can help it because lm thinking of buying a composite door in the future.
The door construction looks like it's a full panel because there is a black plastic
/rubber seal going around the edge of the panel full length.
If l knew who had done it l would have sent them a bill. 😠

I used Cosmofen RM to repair a pvc front door panel in 2012. There were radiating cracks and a slight dent to fill. It's a two part resin and I bought 2 x 19g tubes (only used one, a little goes a long way).
When I look at the door now I can't see the repair. I know it was years ago but a search shows it's still widely available.

Yes it's a full panel.
A suggestion for you could you not just take it out and put the cracked side on the inside?
You would have to maybe swap the letter box around also.
The lead would be on the inside and it should be sealed around the glass so it shouldn't leak.
Try what glennevis mentioned or look on eBay or gumtree.

Why not get some white PVC angle beading from one of the DIY sheds & stick it on with an appropriate super glue ??
