So sorry about the loss of your neighbour - it's good that you saw him on Friday. Sometimes death just overtakes us. xx

Morning all, thanks @Scarlet. It feels slightly cooler today (10 deg) but should be dry with a gentle breeze, very similar to yesterday. Who stole the sun?
As per @Izzy, I sometimes think I have a boring life with not much to say and today is no exception. It's Monday, the weather is so-so and I've nothing planned other than the usual day to day stuff. 😐️ However, my parcel should be arriving today - it's a multi function spin scrubber gadget for cleaning hard to reach areas such as bathroom tiles, windows etc and should hopefully mean I don't have to contend with using a step ladder. I'm not as confident as I used to be when my feet aren't on the ground. 😏 Dinner is also undecided and may well end up as a salad with ???? The postman has delivered junk mail including a flyer for Harlow Carr Gardens in Harrogate with two vouchers against purchases in their garden centre, one for April and one for May. I'm thinking a visit might be an idea for a day out, although I shall have to keep a close eye on the spending!
@Suffolksue - So sorry to hear of your neighbour's sudden passing. Given his medical problems, it could be a blessing in disguise.
That's all for now folks, my thoughts are with anyone struggling at the moment. Take care and have the best day you can. X
Be kind to others and to yourself too.10 -
Good morning
Cloudy with a bit of sunshine, all change tomorrow.
Another day where I've been reading and almost forgot to post. What's happening to me? Anyway, another boring day here, vacuuming done, and a wash load out. It doesn't get more exciting than that I'm afraid. Garlic and herb chicken for tea, with chips for him and salad and new potatoes for me. I wonder if I can tempt him to have salad with his?
Sue, so sorry to read you have lost a friend, hugs x
Dp1, hope mum enjoys seeing the little one, hugs x
Have a good day all, take care.

Izzy, Google Nancy Birtwhistle, I'm sure she did a video on cleaning grubby trainers.
