Morning All
Thanks for the start Scarlet.
I've not managed to get on for the last few days, it's been very busy with DS1, his DP and the very little one visiting over the weekend. It was lovely to have them here, the baby is now toddling about and is such a happy little thing - until it's bed time! She didn't sleep very well, lots of shouting for her Mum and Dad but doesn't actually cry. I think she just likes to see them!
Anyway, I had a better sleep last night after a long overdue tidy of the garden, lots of weeding and the grass had a good rake and a cut. Looks quite nice and tidy out there for now. I have furry visitors under the decking steps so have been putting out traps with quite a few caught. They like mackerel fillets in a spicy tomato sauce! (It was all I had).
DS1 moved the freezer for me yesterday and took out a shelf above the boiler as the chap is coming to fit the new one tomorrow, just a few things to clear out of the laundry tonight.
Hoping everyone is well and have been enjoying the sunshine - it's been glorious here for the last few days but I think rain is due today.
Take care. XX

Morning all
Looking misty out there again this morning.
Getting my mop cut today thank goodness.
DH has put up my little plastic greenhouse so might plant some seeds today and decide what else I want to put in there when the time is right.
Nothing else planned
Hope you get some positive news today @dp1
Have a good day all x

Morning all
Looks to be a nice day although it’s a bit cloudy atm, sun is due out later. I’m off to mums today and she wants to go shopping, we are off to Kent at the weekend and she wants to get some food to take with us, I’ve told her that there are shops in Kent but she is insistent that we go today 😬
I cleaned the little shed out yesterday and OH and I took a car load of stuff to the tip, why do we keep so much rubbish ? It’s all clear now though and we can actually get in the shed. We also took the covers off the outside sofa and took them to the laundrette and washed them in one big machine, it would have taken several loads in our wm, we will put the covers back on once we get back from our break.
The painter is due soon and will hopefully be finished before the end of the week, there is a small job at mums too which he might be able to do at the end of the week.
Dinner tonight will be roast left over from yesterday, nice and easy I just have to heat it through, I’m thinking we are heading into bbq season soon so not too many more roasts I think.
DP1 I’m so glad your parents got to see each other xxx
Have good days all and take care xx

Morning again, it's sunny here after a grey. cold day yesterday.
You've had a busy weekend Camelot - funny isn't it, it's always at bedtime when young children have a wobble, if they're staying. Hope you see the back of your furry visitors soon. We had to stop feeding the birds on a bird table, because a large rat started appearing every day, and tucking in to the bird food.
We are going to the hairdressers today as well, we usually have it done every 5 - 6 weeks.
Not much else happening, I'll visit my friend up the road, my usual Monday visit, and that's about it.
Dp1, hope you get some good news about your parents today. It's a heart breaking situation. Thoughts to you.
Hope everyone has a good day, take care folks.

Morning folks and thanks SCARLET. I think it's the calm before the storm here. The sun is up and a dry day forecast - sadly tomorrow heavy showers are promised then it's all downhill.
Nothing going on here today but my job list is growing by the minute so I really must get myself moving today. I changed the bed and got caught up with the washing yesterday but that was about it, then a slothful afternoon followed.
Have a good day folks if you can with ((HUGS)) for all in need or want of them. DP1 I hope today brings some good news for you and your parents can finally be homed together. Take care all, be safe x

Morning all - thanks for the start @ScarletRibbons. Cold here with white skies, the forecast is for getting much colder during the week.
I ventured into the garden yesterday to burn a lot of financial papers in the chiminea, the best thing left behind by my ex. It was all the headings from statements and letters, the rest go into the recycling bag. As there was a lot all saved up it felt good getting it gone. Later I went out for a short walk, still not confident about my wobbles and pain but went one telegraph pole further than last time. 😀 So far, all well there though still not going to exercise class, I have weights and bands here so will do a bit on my own.
Will have to see how the day pans out, I'm open to suggestions. So far the only visitors are the extremely noisy geese which took sudden fright earlier, taking flight whilst honking like mad things. All quiet now.
I hope that things progressive well for @dp1's beloved DM and DF. And hugs to all. It was lovely to see @Suffolksue popping in. xx

Morning all, thanks Scarlet. Our weather is similar to yours at the moment TA but it felt cold when I let LDog out. Sounds like you've had a busy weekend Camelot.
I love watching the birds but have changed the food and we gave the table a good clean yesterday as we also spotted a rat last week. We have a couple of wood pigeons that visit and scatter the seed on the floor, but I don't want to have to stop feeding the birds. I'll just have to be more meticulous about sweeping up!
I'll probably cook a gammon joint in the IPot later, DGS is playing for school tonight so a later pick up ( and nearer :) ) There are quite a lot of chicken bits left so have in mind to do a chicken and ham pie tomorrow.
DH is going to do a little job at DS2s this morning.
Have a good day :)

Morning everyone
Thank you all so much for your kind thoughts, the plan was to take mam to see dad again this morning, but unfortunately he's going down to the big hospital again with problems with his catheter.
So I'll go down to see mam this morning and take little foster baby with me, as DD has woke up with an awful migraine and has to take him for his family visit later. Mam will be delighted to see him and he gives us something else to talk about. I need to call at their house first to see if theres any more short sleeved shirts in dads wardrobe, it's far too warm in his care home for him to be in his usual thick ones.
I'm hoping I'll get over the road to my friends' house later, for a good chat and a cuppa. I know mam has more visitors going this afternoon.
I hope everyone has a good day today x

thanks Gers .
Feeling v sad this morning as my lovely neighbour died in the early hours ,he was admitted in heart failure on Wednesday, subsequently kidney failure too .
He would’ve been 88 next month and until last week was active in his garden ,still driving.
When I visited him on Friday I thought that might be the last time
I’m pleased for him that it was quick and peaceful, but I will miss him .
out to Scrabble this afternoon must do some housework this morningStay safe all
