Evri Drivers.

Remember me banging the drum for great Evri drivers …..?

Well, the guy that covered this area is no longer doing it and i, too, now am at the mercy of drivers that don't update their device all the time so their drops and movements aren't available, are poor timekeepers, and don't even bother to ring or knock to let you know the parcel's been left.

If you have an individual that has a good work ethic that's fine but if you've someone that's just seeing the pounds at the end of the day and has no pride in their themselves or their work then you're on the receiving (literally) end of lazy, unprofessional, people 😡

I've had a delivery on Friday, large parcel, the delivery driver decided to put it in front of the garden door, rather than my door and walked away. My car is 2mtrs away from my front door so it provides a visual cover for the parcel, but he decided to leave it in front of everyone. Thankfully I have a ring doorbell so I clocked his presence and I was home.

It only bothers me when I'm not home. And before anyone ask, they said parcel would arrive between 19:00-21:00, it arrived 14:35 🤔.

    Sadly not only Evri.

I had a £100+ order DPD delivery scheduled for Tuesday, last (17th). Knowing there would be nobody to accept the delivery I re-scheduled for the 18th and received a confirmation SMS.

Of course, the parcel was just dumped at my front door, on the 17th, in full view. I received an e-mail that the parcel had been delivered at 11.55am! Fortunately it was still there, later in the day, to retrieve.
