Best way to dispute energy and utility bills?

I've been overcharged by my energy supplier and broadband provider a few times this year. The process of disputing them is painful, hours on hold, having to quote regulations, escalating to managers.

Has anyone found a good way to automate this or make it less painful? I know there's Resolver and Citizen's Advice but I'm wondering if there's anything that actually writes the letters for you citing the specific consumer law.

Anyone had success with anything like this?

If you know you have been overcharged then why do need AI to do it, let's be honest you'll be directed to their AI to answer you initially.

I've been overcharged by my energy supplier and broadband provider a few times this year.

Energy suppliers all have a well-exercised complaints process and you can escalate your complaint to the Energy Ombudsman if you're not satisfied.

However, noting that it's only March, I'm quite surprised that you've been overcharged "a few times this year" already. Most people's (and most suppliers) energy accounts run on a budget account system where you will usually carry a credit balance.

Which energy supplier are you with? Can you share examples of this overcharging?
