Replacement wash basin taps
Need replacing. Found one on eBay, look the same but am not sure whether they will fit. Can anybody advise pl? See photos.

Why do you think they won't fit?

1, Separate hot and cold basin taps are pretty standard.
2. The fittings below the taps are nearly always 1/2" BSP threads.
3. I'd suggest the only thing you have to worry about is the reach over the basin and the ones on Ebay look the same reach.
4. Why do the old ones need changing? Do they just need new washers?

it’s leaking.

If you have a Screwfix or Toolstation near you can get these today or tomorrow.
Che check the distance from the tap to the basin to see if they reach
Those taps from eBay are 8 years old and may not have been used but what state are the washers going to be in?
That's if you are thinking of buying them that is.

Cherry, could you have a look at the pipes that supply your taps - are they rigid copper, and where do they go?
I guess a good reason to go for the eBay taps, in addition to cost, is that they will have identical thread spigot lengths - assuming yours are also armshanks, which is pretty likely. If the lengths are different, it can be a real hassle.
I'd expect them to be fully working with no issues. And they have nice brass nuts.
DIY install?
As pointed out above, the physical size regarding fitting is pretty universal - the thread size, hole in basin etc, so all basin taps should fit.
What varies are things like 'reach' over the basin, tap height, and style of head - do you find yours slippery to use?

if they are leaking from the heads, then you can just replace the heads with the new taps. Making it a easier diy job if your not comfortable disconnecting the pipes
When I was an apprentice I was told to loosen the heads from the body and retighten. Before installing them.
So in the future it would be easier to remove
A thankyou is payment enough .2 -
Nice idea.
The difficulty will be as you suggest - the heads will be very tightly stuck in place on the body. There is a very cunning device that'll do this, tho', and you could sell it on afterwards with barely any loss;

nice invention, but I’ll stick to using my box spanner

You can really hold yer tap body steady from any rotation whilst you undo the nut? Kudos…
