Cashback stacking

So for thing like Zilch and such where you link a card, what works in terms of cashback stacking? If for example I had a retailer offer with my bank for 10% cashback and then Zilch also had a cashback offer for the same brand, amd I right in thinking I wouldn't get both as the payment wouldn't be recognised as from that brand but just Zilch? So it works more on general cashback? Like if your bank card offered 1% cashback on everything and you linked Zilch ect you would also get their general cashback rate too?

Speculation - check the general cashback rules for your debit card, I suspect that using Zilch would be seen as a cash transaction rather than a purchase so probably not eligible.

A user may be able to confirm.

Can tell you that it does work on Airtime, but that's not primarily a BNPL scheme. Buy a product on (say) the Argos site via Airtime app and you will get the Airtime discount and the cashback from the linked card.

Specifically for gift cards, everup will give you a discount (3-4% for supermarkets is typical) and MY credit card treats as a purchase and gives 2% cashback on top. YOUR card may not be so giving and might treat as cash advance.

I find that Zilch plus Curve earns the extra cashback on both.

For example, 2% with Zilch at Asda and 1% with Curve as Asda is one of my selected retailers.

But, my underlying payment card does not pay the extra cashback for a retailer offer although it does pay the standard 0.5% cashback

It's trial and error, it might work for one retailer but not another. It might work for one debit/credit card but not another.
