Chrisca, yes the same team. I moved to Deptford when I got married. Grew up in Rotherhithe. Small world.
Do miss pie and mash now we're in Derbyshire.

Morning all, thanks @Scarlet for starting the thread and welcome back, pleased you had a good break and the weather was kind to you.
It was very misty again last night but once more we're blessed with sunshine, a gentle breeze and pleasant temperatures in the mid teens. I could get used to this! I spotted yet more signs of Spring yesterday on my top up shop walk including tulips getting ready to bloom and forsythia sporting bright yellow flowers. Shopping done, I made a detour home via the postbox and the Free Library where I picked up a Karen Pirie thriller by Val McDermid.
Today I plan to continue the patio tidy up (anyone would think it's huge but it isn't - it's just me that's slow 😅 ) and am expecting a parcel delivery plus a booked call back from my water supplier. DS is upstairs photographing some stuff he wants to sell on the Bay of E; I hope it goes quickly as (a) he needs the funds and (b) it can leave the house. Tonight's dinner is chicken drumsticks in a tandoori marinade with chips and side salad.
Nothing else happening so I'll wish everyone a peaceful day. Take care, hugs for any poorly or worried ones. X

@remmie Strangely the Millwall mascot is called Zampa if I remember and I lived in Zampa Road when I was very young before we moved to Deptford. I think the original Zampa Road (I think it's re-named now) is opposite the new Den.

@NRA - I did indeed watch Season 1 when it was first released back in 2022 but for some unknown reason missed Season 2; I expect I can stream it on ITVX though. As yet there's no confirmation of a third season. The book I picked up is Still Life, #6 in the Karen Pirie series.

@YorksLass I enjoyed the Carol Jordan/Tony Hill series of books by Val McDermid. You might want to try them too in the future
