letters of administration - no response after 12 weeks

I have attempted to check progress online but all links seem to take me back to my original application! How can I get to any report on progress?

I have now phoned the service and been told that my application has been passed to a specialist team. No indication on why or how long I will have to wait. It is now 13 weeks! Can anyone suggest how I can chase?

The minimum period is 12 weeks. According to my solicitor they won't even entertain enquiries about progress unless the 12 weeks has expired as there is a backlog. Processing taking between 16 - 18 weeks at the moment.
