Revolut Card - maximum deposit

I have just got my first Revolut Personal card but I find the Help a bit vague about limits.

I will need to put a large amount on the card occasionally (£20K or more) from my bank account. Help says there is no limit for bank transfers but it also says there is an automatic limit on all cards.

So which is it ?

Surely the limit only applies the other way (sending OUT of Revolut)?

There's this limit on incoming cash that I found online

    • New Customer Top-up Limit: New users are limited to £3,000 (or currency equivalent) in 24 hours within their first 30 days.

For card deposits the online help says

    Card deposit limits and fees

    Limits

Our automated security system sets top-up limits for all customers, which reset on a rolling basis (24 hours or 7 days, depending on the limit). They’re based on the total amount you’ve added by card in the past 24 hours or 7 days. These limits adjust as you build a financial history with us.

I have no idea what that actually means in practice.

There don't seem to be any other limits on transfers in by FP (or CHAPS for serious money) but obviously the sending bank might raise an eyebrow.

Aside, Revolut have just got their full banking licence and will be changing their terms with their customers to reflect this. Just had a bunch of notice of change documents from them, not yet read. Might be relevant.

Yes this is the kind of vagueness which concerns me.

I'm a long-time Revolut user, though not on the UK licence.

I moved £10k through my accounts twice in a week last month with no issues.

In contrast about 4 years ago I spent €12k on a car and with withdrew €2k in cash in the same week. The transactions went through fine but triggered a security review.
