Walking 2.6 miles to work?

About 15 years ago I walked something like that (Google Maps says 2.5 miles). Up a hill and through the park and down the other side. Never arrived so sweaty as to need a change of clothes or anything other than office shoes. But as many say - nice on a spring or summer day, not so much in the rain. There was a bus option - but as that required a change and a longish detour it was actually slower so I'd only do that if weather was awful.
I need to think of something new here...0 -
In my youth I walked 2.9 miles each way to work and back from Old Catton to Norwich City centre 5 days a week. I only used the bus if the weather was utterly awful, which was rare.
