Outfox the Market withdraw all Fixed Rate Contracts from offer

As of today, 19th March 2026, OFTM have stopped offering Fixed Rate Contracts.

When asked why they stated that it was "Due to the uncertainty of Wholesale Market prices".

I expect all the other suppliers will start pulling their Fixed Rate offers leaving only Variable Rate contracts to choose from when your fix expires.

A sign of the times!

The bigger companies lock into rates for the fix period so probably more of a case of smaller companies not being able to do that, if history repeats itself a lot of them will go Bang!

I expect given the current uncertainty, the cost to hedge now is astronomical and likely to only get worse.
