Weed burner - any recommendations please?

Been there and tried that, from the small curved stick with thge screw in gas bottles to a more industrial one that runs
from a large propane tank. You will stand in one spot on one weed far longer than you realise and then a 30 second
shower comes over and it grows back because you didn't kill the roots.

Salt works surprisingly well but that depends what you have growing around it. I chuck a handful of salt onto the path
and sweep it into the gaps to stop the weeds within days.

But I did make the mistake of sprinkling a small pinch of salt onto a slug at the base of a sunflower that was in full
flower, it was rather unhappy the next day though.
