Direct Saver Accounts - statements through the post??

Hello Everyone,
I'm talking about 'Direct Saver' accounts, i.e. deposit accounts which are accessible either online or by phone. You deposit money and withdraw through a linked current account.

Do you know if you can ask for statements to be sent through the post each month like with other standard accounts? or do you have to phone or go online to view or listen to your statement?

Depends on who the account is with. It should say in your t&cs what your options are - if not, phone them and ask. However, most of these accounts offer such good rates because they do not provide postal or branch services so I would expect that even if it is offered, you may have to pay a fee to receive a postal statement.

Good point if you access it online you could do this, but if you only access the account by phone then statements by post would be ideal.
