Morning all
Happy Birthday to Camelot have a lovely day xxx
Looks to be a nice day and the rest of the week looks good, we went out for our walk yesterday and ended up doing 5 miles,it was such a nice day so we kept going, my two people fell asleep as soon as we got back to the car.
The decorator is going great guns, he is not coming back this week as he has another job on, but will be back Monday for a few days to finish off, he has managed to fix the ceiling which is brilliant and will save the cost of getting it plastered.
Not sure whatβs for dinner tonight I will go and look after this, I know there are some chicken thighs in there so probably something with them.
I am off to see O today, the new carer should have been there for two nights so hopefully that went well, he will probably want to go out somewhere later.
Shopping being delivered tonight.
Have good days all and take care xx

Morning folks. Thanks GERS and a very Happy Birthday CAMELOT, have a lovely day.
It's a glorious start here with blue sky, sun and 17 deg forecast. That'll do nicely.
It's bus trip day and hopefully this time we will get to Skipton with no road accidents changing our plan like last time when we ended up in Ilkley.. It should be a nice day for browsing the market stalls, followed by yet another lunch. Yesterday DF and I enjoyed a nice lunch of fish and chips and a natter.. Our venue was quiet apart from a man on the next table who seemed to think the whole pub wanted to hear what he was saying .Grr!
Have a lovely day folks if you can with ((HUGS)) for our poorlies, sad or lonely. RUBY I hope all went well with O and his new carer and you can get out somewhere today. Take care all, be safe x

Morning all and thanks for the start @Gers x
Happy Birthday @camelot1001 have a great day x
We collected the new to us car yesterday. I havenβt driven it yet as original one needs to be parked off the drive and I used it for some errands yesterday afternoon. Will probably use it for work too π!!
Itβs a lovely sunny start here and set to continue. I have a much needed haircut this evening - canβt wait.
We finished Under Salt Marsh last night - ramped up towards the end but very hole-y at the start and couldnβt warm to the protagonist at all. Any recommendations for what we watch next?
Hope the overnight cater worked out well @RedRuby1231 and you get out in the sunshine with O x
Enjoy your day out @TravellingAbuela x
Have a good day all

The sun is threatening to shine and the incessant rain seems to have moved elsewhere, fingers crossed for that.
I'm off shortly, down to Carradale for hair cut and colour. The drive should be lovely this morning. After it I'm heading back down to Glasgow to hand over my car to have the timing belt replaced. I'm staying over for two nights as the garage needs my car for a whole day. It's an expensive time. π
My cleaner is coming this morning so I have to zip round putting away things.
I hope that everyone is fine and dandy or on the way back to it. Hugs to all.

looks to be a lovely day here too
I finally had a hip X-ray 10 days ago ,think in the end it was just to shut me up
Told 3-4 weeks for the result ,
Q however a week later I got a phone call from a very surprised physio to say severe arthritis and bony spurs
Been referred back to orthopaedic for the hip replacement !It looked fine 10 months ago
Glad Iβm not a wimp ,but sulking a bit at the speed
I was very restrained and refrained from saying I told you so !!
Managed to cut some of the grass yesterday will try and do the rest today ,my gardener is ill so I must try to keep on top of it .
stay safe all13 -
Morning all. Sunny here now and I think it's meant to be the best day of the week, weather wise.
Busy times here; I've finally sorted an ENT referral but had to go through Benenden, as I'd been waiting on the NHS since last April. Anyway, I'm seeing someone on 1 April and will see what they say. I really find Benenden so helpful if you fall under their remit for procedures/operations and it's barely double figures per month!
Had a lovely day on Sunday when all the family visited. DS even came early and we sorted though some of his boxes in the garage - tip run now booked for Friday! I've told him I'm buying them nappies from every supermarket around and so far have got to 5 of them. I think Morrisons have some own brand ones so might take a trip there later in the week. He and DDiL are bringing her parents to visit us for the first time at the weekend so my intention is to hand over the baby stuff then, as we might not see them again for a few weeks.
Off to help at the Larder now. Good luck to DP1 today with the new SW and assessment and hope everyone else's day goes well.

Morning everyone
Happy Birthday to Camelot and to Snoozer for yesterday.
I'm dreading mams' assessment this afternoon, I think she will end up having to go home with carers and I know she's not going to cope at all. It seems they'll just wait for something to happen and then they'll say she can go to a care home, though not necessarily the same one as dad. I thought people usually argued to keep their parents out of care homes not the other way round.
I have a number to ring Age UK at 9am , to see if they can give me any advice
Anyways that is all that's on my mind this morning so I'll just wish you all a good day.
